500g boneless chicken breast, cut into chunks
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
3 tablespoons tandoori masala
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to your spice preference)
Salt, to taste
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, ground cumin, ground coriander, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.
Add the chicken chunks to the marinade and coat them evenly. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (or ideally overnight) to allow the flavors to meld.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked wooden skewers.
Grill the skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning them occasionally until the chicken is fully cooked and slightly charred around the edges.
Serve the tandoori chicken skewers with fresh lemon wedges, sliced onions, and a mint-yogurt chutney.
