Juwar, also known as Pearl Millet, is a light brown colour millet seed, typically used after grinding it into flour. Heera Juwar Whole is the whole Juwar seed. Juwar flour is warm in its attribute, therefore Juwar Flour is typically used in winters in India. Juwar Flour is usually combined with wheat flour for making flat-breads like bhakari, thepla and khakhra. Juwari ki roti, or flat bread made of Juwari is a very popular rustic dish, as well makes variety of receipes like Juwari bhajji (fritters), juwari vada, Juwari upma, dosa and idli. Juwari flour is gluten free, consisting of high-protein, cholesterol-free source of a variety of essential nutrients.
