Yellow honeydew are probably the most eye-catching of the melon types. The bright yellow skin and elongated shape cannot be missed in a store, and they are generally on the larger size compared to Galia and Canteloupe. The flesh is an attractive creamy white-yellow and the flavour, when good, is sweet and mildly fragrant. Yellow honeydew have great shelf-life and can last for weeks in cool room temperatures.
